History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

History: Adam was born with his father's beautiful face. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and many drow want him driven away
