History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Aldous was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he's in love

History: Robert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family
