History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
