Nicholas Ryland, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. Nicholas was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
Ideals: Professionalism, Gifted. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Immigrant. Occupation: Mortician
Voice: Rolls R's

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sailor and is in decent physical shape. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants revenge against dire rats
Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Antagonistic, Ugly. Bonds: Poor, Enemies. Occupation: Sailor

Description: An older man who likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: He is content; and money/treasure
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Ugly, Disease, Mundane. Bonds: Enemies, Rich. Occupation: Crown-heir

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He got into the Hunter business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
