He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Gerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
