Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his pickaxe. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Jocelyn was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Norman was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He wears tan trousers with black and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raymond lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
