His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Frederick would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
