History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Roofer profession.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
