History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Theobald took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His brown hair is long and unkept. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rolf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Gerald was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
