His father taught him the rudiments of the Sculptor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cory liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
