History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Bernard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
