History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hand crossbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and is pretty ugly. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with grey slacks, and is pretty ugly. His hair is brown and curly. His eyes are brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and wants to raise his children well
