History: He was born in a small island village. Arnold was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Arnold decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great joy in being the best Miner in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
