History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. Adelard was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'0". He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sword. He has silver hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear yellow tank tops with grey pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he usually wears his white robe and has his kukri always slung over his shoulder. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he is greedy
