Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Everard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Gardener born in the past three hundred years. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up work as a Gardener and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has amber eyes.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a Bather first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Charles took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Bather like his mother before him.
