Justin Reid, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Justin will drive conversation. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Gerard Barclay, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east.
