History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
