History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Lewis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lewis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Miles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is typically in his Engraver uniform. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He has worked as a Engraver like his mother before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his son

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is white and curly. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
