History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and revenge

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Arnold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arnold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep
