Description: This man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his right hand. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Conrad was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.
