History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A 5'1" northern man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shoemaker business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This slender man stands about 6'6". He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Courier.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is unsatisfied with his job
