Gilbert Hayes, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His head has been shaved. His eyes are blue.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Gerald Graham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is silver and very short. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dean decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
