History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to settle down with his crush

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Architect, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
