History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in a small island village. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
