History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
