Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and a wedding ring on his right hand. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Miller again; and balancing his hectic life and new hunter responsibilities is difficult

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears bulky brown painted plate armor. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Aldous was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
