History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
