Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Simon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the east. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Brewer again; and he feels threatened by others

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
