History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. William was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He became a Stableman soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and regain custody of his son
