History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality
