Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, black shirt, and yellow tie. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roger never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
