History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his son

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
