History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to unite with his brother

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Alex was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Alex's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
