He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He carries with him a set of shields on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
