Personality: Adelard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Don studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Don and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
