Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He is physically well-built. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a white tunic with tan highlights, and long pastel pants that bunch up around his shoes. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to work out more often

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and revenge

Description: This slender man stands about 6'2". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. He has no hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his sister
