History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
