History: Patrick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He became a Dyer soon after.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Manfred is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: Miles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in the north to a Junk Dealer, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult
