Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is a Sailor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He receives visions of the future at random moments
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Arnold took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Sailor like his mother before him.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and to be a bookbinder again

Description: This exceptionally lanky man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Diggory wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Born in the north to a Barber, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and money/treasure

Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, tan shirt, and black tie, and is pretty ugly. He has no hair. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull white iron scale mail, marred by teas. He has wavy golden hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
