When his father died while fighting drow, the young Dustin began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
