History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
