He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His brown hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He is content; and he feels threatened by others

Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His ears are large.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Blacksmith business.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has money and likes to spend it

Anthony Kent, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anthony fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
Ideals: Fighting, Athletic. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Religious. Occupation: Farmer

Anselm Barlow, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, Anselm took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure
