History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a tight grey one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
