History: Born in the east to a Healer, Charles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. He's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. Conrad was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants to get laid

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult; and he is wracked by social anxiety
