History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
