Description: A middle-aged man, he is typically in his Mayor uniform, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Cory is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This light-skinned male is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Alex was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Alex reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
