Personality: Charles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. Charles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
