History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hugh's homeland. Hugh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born in the east. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
