Description: He tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his spear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a grey armored body suit, with a simple green line shooting up and back down. His auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His ears are large.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
