When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Charles was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
